Indonesia's Positive Cases of Covid-19 Reached 1.492 Million

Number of Covid-19 deaths in Indonesia was reported to have increased by 198 people

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA --- Indonesia has recorded a consistent decline in daily Covid-19 positive cases for several days. If in the previous few weeks the positive daily covid cases were above the 10,000, now it is down to around 4,000.

The Task Force for Handling Covid-19 reported that Covif-19 positive cases increasing of 4,461 people on Saturday (27/3) at 12.00 WIB. The number of recovered cases per day has also increased by 4,243 people.

Based on data received in Jakarta, Saturday, there were also 198 deaths. With these additional confirmed patients, the accumulated number of confirmed cases in Indonesia reached 1,492,002 people.

Then, as many as 1,327,121 people have been declared cure and 40,364 people have died since the first confirmed case of Covid-19 in Indonesia in March 2020. Meanwhile, 54,980 people were suspected and 67,548 specimens were tested.

The most number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 occurred in DKI Jakarta, namely 1,354 cases, followed by West Java with an additional 476 cases.

The highest recovery rate occurred in West Java with 1,182 people, followed by DKI Jakarta with 651 people, and East Java with 303 people.

Most of the deaths were in West Java with 102 people, Central Java with 19 people, and DKI Jakarta with 18 people.

The highest cumulative Covid-19 cases were in DKI Jakarta, namely 378,222 cases, West Java 246,252 cases, and Central Java 167,176 cases.

The most cumulative recovered cases were in DKI Jakarta, namely 364,175 people, West Java 218,100 people, and East Java 126,575 people.

Most of the deaths occurred in East Java 9,810 people, Central Java 7,207 people, and DKI Jakarta 6,278 people.
