The housewives were lined up neatly in the entrance hall of the building of the Constitutional Court. Like the mothers, they used bright colored clothes, wide smile. People might not even be able to guess whether the room had been changed into a Majlis Ta’lim (religious study) ceremony. Even any a mother did not really leave of the household chores: keep sitting baby in the outside of hearing.

It was the picture of Aliansi Cinta Keluarga (AILA) or the Family Love Alliance members when proposed judicial review to the Constitutional Court. The alliance is the face of Indonesian mothers who care for family strengthening.

According to the Chairman AILA, Rita Soebagjo, one of the reasons the birth of the alliance is anxiety about moral problems of children and families. According to her, the problem was born due to family dysfunction. The father who did not play a role, mothers who did not play a role, eventually child should be the victim.

What the alliance did is an unusual path for an organization that consists of housewives. They filed Judicial Review concerning the Criminal Code.

The alliance assesses that three articles (284, 285 and 292) in the Criminal Code (KUHP) on adultery, rape and sodomy are not in line with moral values, religion, and culture of a civilized nation. These efforts are done painstakingly by working day and night, while still undergoing their profession as a housewife to nurture the children.

So,Why does AILA do it? "We took a position to oversee in the legislation because it is not much to do that," said Rita.

The alliance movement for the protection of families was quickly gain the support of the Indonesian people and academics in various fields such as Dr. Hamid Cholid S.H., LL.M. (Vice Rector of UI) Dr. Musni Umar Ph.D. (Sociologist), dr. Inong Sp.KK (Specialist Doctor in Venereal Disease), Dr. Asrorun Niam (Chairman of Indonesian Child Protection Commission), Dr. Neng Zubaidah S.H., M.H (Lecturer at UI), and many more.

In the hearing, a restlessness of Indonesian mothers was reflected well by the expert witnesses, Dr. Hamid Cholid, a constitutional law expert.

He considered that during this time the country has secretly legalized adultery, rape to men, and raunchy’s action of homosex adults. (LGBT).

Cholid said the prohibition of adultery in Article 284, only punish the perpetrators if one by the marriage. Whereas in Article 285, the crime of rape will only be convicted if the victim is female.

Then article 292 of the Criminal Code only formulate criminal sanctions for perpetrators who commit indecent acts between same-sex with the child victim. Meanwhile, if the acts between same-sex adults (LGBT) was not criminalized.

“Our country has silently legalized sex outside marriage, rape of men and sex between same-sex couples. Our law has been so liberal because we have allowed it to be like that for too long. Is that what we want?” he said.

A expert witnesses video in the hearing became viral on instant chat application and social media such as Whatsapp, Facebook, and Twitter.

In the video, the specialist doctor in venereal disease, dr Inong Sp.KK, lifted a book that has been circulating since 2014, even 2009 and endorsed by the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education.

She said this book is aimed for teens and it is explained that gender identity is not only women and men. Teens are allowed to love men and women sexually. This book also teaches teens to choice to be heterosex, bisex, homosex or asexual.

"I'm sorry, our children have been taught like this and we are careless. It is no weird many cases happened like this," said Dr. Inong who become a specialist doctor in the venereal disease since 1998 often anal damage of her patients because of homosexual relations.

"Mother and father, are you not sad? I face every day, gentlemen. My other friends also face it everyday,” she said with a trembling voice.

As a note, in Indonesia, LGBT Phenomenon has been in dangerous level. On February 2016, Chairman of Commission I of the House of Representatives, Mahfudz Siddik, stating that Indonesia is currently in danger emergency phenomenon of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) deserve serious attention from all sides.

Crimes motivated by LGBT behavior also increasingly in the last 10 years. On July 2008, the Indonesian nation was shocked a serial killing by Verry Idham Henyansyah also known as Ryan.

Very confessed to killing 11 people and was sentenced to death by the Indonesia criminal court. Later, the motive of Ryan was known because Verry as an LGBT being envy. Very is openly homosexual and he confessed that most of his victims were also homosexual men.

In 2012, serial killing were happened in Nganjuk, East Java. Indonesian Police arrested Mujianto also known as Menthok. The man confessed to killing 15 homo sex men because of envy.

In 2014, West Java was shocked Rudianto’s body, alumni of Parahyangan University. His body was burnt by Rn (23 years old). He confessed to killing Rudianto due to jealous as a gay.

This week, we are also surprised by the discovery of National Police Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim) a criminal act of human trafficking and exploitation of minors.

National Police Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim) director for special economic crimes Brig. Gen Agung Setya said that 99 minors become victims of prostitution gay (homosexual).

Agung said each customer paid around Rp 1.2 million (around US$90) for the service, of which between Rp 100,000 to Rp 150,000 went to individual sex workers.

Today, 27.3% Indonesia children (about 64 millions of 255 million the population of Indonesia) under threat freedom which brought by western values and LGBT.

Instead of seeking to save the fate of millions of Indonesian children now they branded "dangerous people". Dangerous for who?

If you live in these conditions, which are always anxious every release of our children go to school in the morning, and then you make a movement to protect them, are you dangerous as terrorists? How with they who always set eye on teens?

Are we still normal with this logic?

However, due to constitutional efforts to protect the family, Aila is regarded Jakarta Post as an organization that is more dangerous than the Islamic Defenders Front.

"The Islam Defenders Front (FPI) - imagine its members roaming the streets of Jakarta, hunting down Playboy magazines and vandalizing cheap liquor stores - may no longer epitomize religious conservatism in Indonesia," the Jakarta Post wrote which mention the role is now taken by AILA.

Reading the Jakarta Post titled "Commentary: Why AILA is a bigger threat to freedom than the FPI", instead of finding an "FPI’s face" in the alliance, we just invited to perform negative labelling to mothers who take democratic and constitutional way: as a threat, and has a dream to change the constitution.

The alliance actually teaches us that the mother, as a housewife, also plays a major role to guard the nation's moral. Their dream is noble: that the nation's children do not get sexual disorientation and women are no longer raped.

For LBGT supporters, the alliance is dangerous. But, for million of Indonesian children, the alliance is the mother. They still do not get angry despite his love for the nation of Indonesia is considered by LGBT activist as desirability to impose religious interpretations. Like a wisdom word: The affection without expecting something in return and won’t be rewarded forever is a mother’s love to her son.
